Christine Gelineau is the author of ALMANAC: A MURMURATION<\/a>,<\/span> a memoir \/meditation\u00a0 that focuses on stories we tell to shape our lives at the personal, national, and global levels. Gelineau is also the author of three full-length books of poetry: CRAVE<\/span> <\/a>from NYQ Books; the poetic sequence APPETITE FOR THE DIVINE<\/span>,<\/a> published as the Editor\u2019s Choice for the Robert McGovern Prize from Ashland Poetry Press and REMORSELESS LOYALTY<\/span>,<\/a> winner of the Richard Snyder Memorial Prize, also from Ashland Poetry Press.\u00a0<\/p>

A recipient of the Pushcart Prize, Gelineau\u2019s poetry and essays have been widely published in journals such as Prairie Schooner, New Letters, The New York Times<\/a>, Green Mountains Review, North American Review<\/a>, <\/em>\u00a0and online in venues such as Verse Daily and Rattle<\/a>. Three of her essays have been cited as Notable Essays in Best American Essays<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>

Gelineau teaches poetry and creative nonfiction in the Maslow Family Low-residency Graduate Program in Creative Writing at Wilkes University<\/a>. Though now retired from that position, she served for many years as Associate Director of the Creative Writing Program at Binghamton University.<\/p>

She and her husband live on a farm in the upper Susquehanna River valley.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
